BIOGRAPHY
Kandy brings more
than twenty-five years of hands-on management and human resource experience,
including consulting work with Fortune 500 companies and many multi-state
employers and small businesses. Kandy provides clients with basic HR
support including compliance with State and Federal regulations, internal
third-party investigations, staffing strategies, and other related human
capital issues. Kandy’s expertise in training and development
focuses on increasing employee productivity and performance by providing
personality strengths assessment, 360-degree competency assessments
as well as executive and management coaching.
She also has government
relations experience and serves as a three-term City Council Member
and Council President for Garden City, Idaho, and past President of
Ada Planning Association Board (now COMPASS), a member of the Idaho
State Bar Character and Fitness Committee, and previously served a three-year
term to the Idaho State Bar Professional Conduct Board and past board
member of the local chapter of American Society of Training Director),
as well as, a member of the Human Resource Association of Treasure Valley
(local SHRM chapter).
Kandy currently serves as board member of the Idaho Botanical Gardens
and the chair for the Small Business Council. Kandy served as the Idaho
Area Manager for Northwest Staffing Resources, the largest independent
staffing group in the Northwest. She has worked as a national consultant
and trainer and was the regional training manager for KeyCorp's Rocky
Mountain Region. Prior to her nine years with KeyCorp, she held the
position as Director of Fundraising and Marketing for a major nonprofit
organization, and corporate personnel manager. Her areas of expertise
include employee and government relations, management and leadership
development, quality initiatives and corporate learning initiatives.
Kandy has facilitated
numerous meetings and events over the course of her career, including
the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce Annual Leadership Conference, the
Idaho Council for the Arts Annual Meeting, and the Idaho Council for
Developmental Disabilities.
