Expertise

Julie works with organizations to design development programs, which support the goals of the company in order to attract, motivate and retain a high performing workforce. Her areas of professional expertise include designing and supporting structured internship and mentoring programs, employee relations, coaching and counseling, leave of absences, administration of benefits, payroll, worker’s compensation and Business Etiquette training.

Specializing in developing dynamic internship programs, she applies her skills to create programs which provide an increased understanding of the clients industry while requiring the intern to complete job tasks, development activities and document their experience. Julie also has extensive experience in developing and supporting employees to cultivate career strategies and enhance professional growth and development while participating in formal mentoring programs.

Results Achieved

  • A world-wide insurance brokerage firm was challenged to create an internship program which would cultivate interns to enter the Corporate Training Program. Julie collected information from Senior Department Managers and helped them to clearly identify tasks, activities and goals, which would prepare an intern to enter the Training Program. Once the data was collected Julie was able to lead a team of managers and employees in creating a comprehensive Internship Guide, which not only assisted the Intern in having a clearly defined role, but also met the organizations goals.
